Nathan Fitton, DO, is a graduate of Michigan State University's College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed a residency in family medicine at Metro Health Hospital in west Michigan. Dr. Fitton then completed a Sports Medicine Fellowship at Michigan State University.He joined MSU Health Care in 2017, where he practices within the MSU Health Care Sports Medicine and serves as Associate Professor of Orthopedics with the MSU's College of Osteopathic Medicine.Dr. Fitton was named as the associate chief medical information officer in 2019, joining the clinical applications team. Since becoming ACMIO, his focus has been on physician optimization within the MSUathena EHR and organization of the MSU Health Care provider super user group.
