Blommer Chocolate is a chocolate and cocoa manufacturer that serves customers throughout the world. The company was founded in 1939 in Chicago by Henry Blommer, Sr., along with his brothers Al and Bernard. It a family-owned business and has grown to become one of the largest chocolate manufacturers in North America. With four generations of chocolate makers and experience, Blommer provides Signature Line chocolates, which is a line of chocolates of some of the finest flavors and color profiles that was developed especially for the boxed-chocolate market. The Signature Line was developed with the assistance of a chocolate expert from Switzerland. It selects and blend flavor-grade cocoa beans and other ingredients used to produce a line of coatings of some of the finest flavors and color profiles. Blommer Chocolate has a facility located in East Greenville, Pa., where it employs nearly 150 people.
