Founded in 1956 as Don Floan Engineering, Floan-Sanders provides a range of civil engineering and land surveying services to clients in northwestern Minnesota. It oversees a professional staff of more than 15 employees, including engineers, engineering technicians and registered land surveyors. Floan-Sanders offers transportation, wastewater treatment, water supply, and land and site development services. Its project experience includes bridge construction, drainage structures, land surveying, platting, infrastructure layout and municipal engineering services from the preliminary engineering phase through final construction. The company also provides river and storm sewer modeling and hydraulic analysis of bridge and box culvert river crossings. Additionally, it assists municipalities and other organizations as a consulting engineer and helps evaluate their aging infrastructure and form a maintenance plan. Floan-Sanders maintains a location in East Grand Forks, Minn.
