Saint-Gobain Ceramics is a subsidiary of Saint-Gobain Corporation, engaged in manufacturing CERBEC balls. Based in East Granby, Conn., the company produces silicon nitride rolling elements for multiple applications. CERBEC balls, made from engineered silicon nitride materials, come in a wide range of ball sizes and grades for applications, including ball bearings, ball screws, fluid check devices and the like. Manufactured by the Bearing Component Group within Saint Gobain Ceramics, CERBEC balls are used in various industries, including aerospace, automotive, machine tools, medical and sporting goods to name a few.
