Freetown Elementary School is a public institution that offers educational and extracurricular programs to students in grades kindergarten through four. Located in East Freetown, Mass., the school has a student strength of more than 500 students. It provides special services for the student body in the areas of art, music, French and physical education. It also has a full-time speech therapist and disabilities teachers trained to provide individual instruction for children with special needs. It has a school psychologist to do psychological evaluations and counsel children requiring special attention. Additionally, the school offers part-time services in adaptive physical education and physical and occupational therapies for students with special needs. The institution is affiliated with the Freetown and Lakeville Public Schools.
