  I was born and raised in Easley. My parents were Ruth and DeVore Cantrell. I graduated from Easley High School and Wofford Collge. I then graduated from the University of South Carolina Law School. I have practiced law in the Upstate continuously since 1977. During this time in addition to my practice, I have been employed by the Solicitor's Office, the City of Easley as City Judge, and,most recently, by the Public Defender's Office. I have held positions in the Pickens County Bar, the County Bar, the South Carolina Bar, the South Carolina Bankruptcy Law Association. My wife Linda is the Administrator of my office. My primary areas of practice are Consumer Bankruptcy (Chapter 7 and Criminal (General Sessions, Magistrate and Juvenile), Family Law, and preparation of Wills, Deeds, Powers of Attorney and Living Wills/Health Care Powers of Attorney. I practice in all surrounding counties including Greenville, Anderson and Oconee.
