The Eagle River Historical Society was founded in 1966 and incorporated in 1968. It is located in the small northern Wisconsin community of Eagle River, Wisconsin and is the only organization devoted to the preservation of local history in town. We operate two permanent museums - our iconic 1923 Railroad Depot on Railroad Street in downtown Eagle River and our Heritage Museum at 1181 Hwy 45 South just outside of the town of Eagle River.The Eagle River Historical Society was founded in 1966 and incorporated in 1968.
