Jitters opened for business in 1994. Owners Dennis and Linda Johnson with their two daughters, Briana and Shanda are the family behind the scenes. The Johnsons moved to Eagle River in 1971 and began raising kids, teaching school, working in a river rafting business at one time, running an art gallery/gift shop, and enjoying the beauty Alaska has to offer. Their extended family reaches far into the community. Many customers now remember Dennis as their 6th grade teacher.
