Ag Processing is a farmer-owned cooperative that is engaged in the procurement, processing, marketing, and transportation of grains and grain products. Formed in 1983, it is comprised of more than 190 local cooperatives that represent over 250,000 farmers throughout the Midwest. The cooperative operates various soybean processing plants, including, Eagle Grove, Emmetsburg, Manning, Mason City, Sergeant Bluff and Sheldon, Iowa. Ag Processing also maintains plants in Dawson, Minn., St. Joseph, Mo., and Hastings, Neb. It functions under several brand names, such as AGP Grain Marketing, AGP Grain, Masterfeeds, SoyGold and AEP AMINOPLUS. The cooperative operates Ag Environmental Products, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Ag Processing and markets a variety of environmental-friendly products.
