General Info

Dr. Jon Skare attended Hamline University for his undergraduate degree in biology. He then took his love of science and helping people to the Univesity of Minnesota, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. He has been proudly serving patients in the Eagan, MN community since 1985. Dr. Skare’s decades of experience, specialized training, and state-of-the-art equipment allows him to offer you and your family the high level of care you deserve. Dr. Skare continues to learn everything he can about advances in modern dentistry. Since 2007, he has devoted himself to advanced training and education in CEREC technology and same-visit dental restorations. Dr. Skare also studied dental implantology extensively under Dr. Arun Garg, a leader in the field, and continues to update his knowledge of implant dentistry. Wood Park Dental is a family-owned and operated practice. Dr. Skare’s wife Cindy is our office manager, and his daughter Leah works at the front desk. His Puggle Ziggy runs his life outside of the practice as he is so high maintenance, but also very loyal.
