Our goal is to care for your animals as if they were our own, at affordable and competitive rates. Our facility, built in 2009, is conveniently located just off Highway 20 in Dyersville, Iowa which is right outside of Dubuque, Iowa. The facility includes one chute with a palpation gate and scale. Another chute is designed to lift feet for hoof work and surgery. For on-site farm work, we offer use of a portable chute with a scale. Some of our large animal services include emergency calls, pregnancy exams, herd health with the use of ultrasound, soundness exams, medicine, surgery, tuberculosis testing, health papers, bacterial culturing and drug sensitivity testing and vaccination schedules. Bovine Our bovine services include bull breeding, calfhood vaccinations, pregnancy exams, disease and illness testing, examinations and more. Equine Our equine services include pregnancy exams, artificial insemination, floating teeth and castration. Swine Dr. Bourek is certified to do on-farm Site Assessments, Pork Quality Assurance Certification and Transport. He checks sick pigs and sets up vaccination protocols. He also performs pregnancy exams and obstetrical work on sows and gilts. We are equipped to run in-clinic routine bacterial culturing for mastitis, pneumonia, diarrhea and other ailments of livestock and small animals.
