- RheumatologyOur offices offer a wide array of services and are conveniently located in Raleigh and Durham. We’ve been serving patients in the Triangle and surrounding areas for over 30 years and offer specialty services including adult and pediatric neurology, sleep medicine, rheumatology, pain management, imaging (MRI), infusion and other services.
- Pediatric CareCarrie was born and raised in the Detroit, Michigan area and moved to NC in 1998. Before becoming a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, she worked as an RN for 10 years in the Pediatric ICU and with pediatric oncology patients. She received her Masters of Science, Pediatric Nurse Practitioner from Duke University in 2002 and has experience in pediatric primary care offices, pediatric oncology, and pediatric urgent care. She returned to school for a Post-Master’s degree in Acute Care Pediatrics at Emory University to combine her love of taking care of children in both the office and hospital setting, and will graduate in December 2018. Carrie is looking forward to caring for children with neurological disorders, and partnering with their parents to provide excellent, comprehensive care of the child in all aspects.
- Primary CareOur Child Development Department does require a referral from a pediatrician/primary care physician. We do REQUIRE our completed referral form (link below), any background, and pertinent office notes. All referrals are triaged by the providers to ensure it is the most appropriate next step for the patient. Prior to scheduling, we will also require addional intake documentation and information from the family. This enables us to provide the most meaningful initial consultation possible. After the appointment, our assessment will be sent to you for your records and any additional follow-up.
- Sleep DisordersSuffering the symptoms of a sleep disorder can be one of the most disruptive forces in a person’s life, often also affecting a spouse or other family members. Not only can excessive snoring keep family members awake during the night, but fatigued individuals may be unable to properly function in normal daytime activities at home, on the job, or even behind the wheel of a car.
- Family PracticeGinger is a native of Melbourne, FL. She moved to North Carolina in 1995 after receiving a volleyball scholarship to Lenoir-Rhyne College. Upon completion of her BS degree, she began studies at the Wake Forest University School of Medicine Physician Assistant Program, where she graduated with Academic Distinction in 2003. After graduation, Ginger initially practiced family medicine, but eventually moved on to Neurology, and has been practicing in this field since 2005. She lives in Wake Forest with her husband and son. They enjoy watching NFL football as a family, especially the Miami Dolphins and Denver Broncos.
- Emergency CareBusiness associates: We may arrange for other individuals and entities, referred to as “Business Associates”, to perform various functions and activities on our behalf and to provide certain services. Examples include physician services in the emergency department and radiology, certain laboratory tests, and a copy service we use when making copies of your health record. When these services are contracted, we may disclose your protected health information to our business associates so that they can perform the job we’ve asked them to do and bill you or your third-party payer for services rendered. To protect your protected health information, however, we require our business associates to appropriately safeguard your information.
- ImmunizationsMany of our patients living with chronic conditions, including MS, have ongoing questions regarding the COVID-19 vaccine. We want to share the latest vaccine information we have with you. The rise of COVID-19 cases in our community due to the Delta Variant has been very worrisome. Vaccination against COVID-19 remains the best way to prevent severe disease, hospitalization, and death. Please continue social distancing and masking indoors to further prevent the spread of COVID-19.
- OphthalmologyOur Neuro-Ophthalmology group specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of conditions affecting the nerves of the eye, eye socket and brain. Located on the second floor of our 1520 Sunday Drive location, we evaluate and treat patients with unexplained visual loss, transient vision loss and vision loss due to optic nerve, brain and neurologic problems such as multiple sclerosis and tumors.

- Internal MedicineSean was raised in West Virginia and earned his Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Alderson Broaddus University. Prior to relocating to the Raleigh area, Sean was a primary care provider and also practiced in Internal Medicine with a cardiologist. Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and licensed by the North Carolina Medical Board, he is now focused on assisting the Raleigh Neurology inpatient team at WakeMed. When not working, Sean enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter. He has an enthusiasm for overall wellness in his occupation and personal life. When outdoors, find him on the lake or a trail.

- Interventional RadiologyAli moved to North Carolina from Salt Lake City, UT with her fiancé in 2018. While working towards her graduate degree, she worked as a nurse for 7 years in various areas both in the hospital and outpatient setting. These include neuro intensive care, interventional radiology, and 3 and a half years in the Raleigh Neurology nursing float pool. She received her BSN in 2019 and MSN in May of 2022. Ali is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners as a family nurse practitioner. Outside of work she enjoys camping and spending time her fiancé and their pets; a dog and two cats.
- OrthopedicsAndrew was born and raised in the area of Los Angeles, California. He is a graduate of the Duke University Physician Assistant Program with a Master of Health Sciences. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of California at Santa Barbara. He is licensed by the North Carolina Medical Board, and certified by the NCCPA. Andrew works in the sleep medicine clinic and also provides general neurology care. He has prior experience working in orthopedics, and he has been practicing as a physician assistant since 2008. When not seeing patients, he enjoys time with family and friends, being outdoors, cycling, and playing music.
- NeurosurgeryOriginally from Augusta, Georgia, Kelsie received her Master’s of Science in Physician Assistant studies in 2009 from the Medical College of Georgia. She is NCCPA board certified and has worked in Neurosurgery as well as inpatient Neurology. She has relocated to Raleigh from the Orlando, FL area in early 2015 with her husband and three children. She enjoys watching movies, seeing new places, and spending time with her family.
