Paula let me set the pace with no pressure. She provided adequate resources so I could make a good decision. When I made a decision, she executed it quickly. The installations were perfect and on time. Responsive, timely and supportive. If you are thinking of using a decorator for any reason you would be in good hands with Sew Fine II.
Paula has helped me with all of my decorating needs for the last 15 years, including furniture, paint colors, tile, countertops, flooring, wallpaper, and 16 window treatments (and I'm getting ready to call her to help me with 7 more!) She has also worked with friends of mine, and this has allowed me to realize her special talent of being able to pick up on the style of the individual that she is working with and developing it without imposing her own. (And if you don't have your own style, don't worry, hers is awesome!) Paula is also a very nice person that I trust completely and is a pleaure to work with. She makes it all easy and fun!
Kudos to Barbara Young for helping me design curtains and a bedskirt for my newly redone bedroom. She mad the the experience pleasant and easy! I can't wait to get started on another room!
Barbara has done a wonderful job of picking just the right shades for my home. With her keen eye and beautiful design sense she has also chosen just the right style shades as well. She also helped me pick the perfect colors for the shades. David did a fantastic job of installing all the shades. Barbara and David are very professional people and I highly recommend working with them. I have been so pleased with Barbara's professional design knowledge that I am having Barbara and David back for a third time for more shades for my home.
Barbara did a beautiful job finding the perfect fabric and style for our window treatments. They make a statement and complete our room perfectly. David also did a wonderful job installing them. I look forward to working with Sew Fine II in the future.
Stated succinctly, Paula and her crew are simply the best in the business. They did the window treatments for the intial, major upfit of our new, high-end home in Chapel Hill, and we renewed the relationship for a number of "mini projects" over the eight years since.
Because we do all our own decorating, we appreciate Paula's refined taste, her understanding of what we're trying to accomplish, and her ability to focus our efforts. Amazingly enough, we're also please with the result of our collaboration -- and we're not easy people to please.
I had two pillows made to coordinate with two chairs and Lori Paschall is a very talented decorator and picked wonderful colors for the items. She is outstanding and give me wonderful service and delivered them. You can not go wrong with Sew Fine II.

With over two decades in business, the owner and designer, Paula, and her very competent staff will transform your windows, walls, and floors from the plain to "works of art". Beginning the moment of your selection, and throughout the entire installation process, you will never feel pressured. Follow-up is fantastic. We have utilized the services of Sew Fine II over the last eight years since moving into our new home. Paula has helped us design and create everything from drapes, bench pillows, chair seats and a piano bench seat for our kitchen and sitting room. Most recently--Paula helped me to redesign our family room. She was instrumental in capturing the essence of what I was trying to create in this room. She helped in the selection of furniture, rugs and designed the perfect layout to fit our family's needs. I will continue to call on Sew Fine II in the future to help with our decorating needs. Their service and work is second to none.
Paula is a lot of fun. She took her time, asked questions, and got to know me and my husband. She only smiled when she realized she was "designing for dummies." Paula and the installer were always on time and cheerful. She's my designer as long as she'll have me.

They are both, dependable and professional. They solved all of my window covering needs as well as providing other decorating advice and products..
We have used Sew Fine II numerous times over the past 15 years and have always been extremely satisfied with their work. We received their name from a neighbor when we moved to Chapel Hill from California, and have used them for all of our window covering needs...they have completely outfitted 2 houses for us. In addition, we have purchased several custom area rugs and sought design advice with paint colors, tile selection, etc. The design expertise is exceptional and installation is very professional. They are very patient in working to help the customer get what they will be happy with, even when the customer does not know exactly what it is they want!
