  Had my first visit with Dr. Lerzundy and team today, and it was a very pleasant experience. Kelly welcomed into the practice with such a warm and friendly attitude.   Well, after 22 crowns, over the years, entirely under Dr L’s caring expertise, I can only say thank you again and again for helping me through my health condition that deteriorates my teeth. The entire staff continues the tradition of excellence begun with Dr Fleming, 15 yrs ago. What is this “excellence”? I’ve never been fearful as my questions were welcomed, with the basics of every new procedure explained, and choices offered, when possible. Friends and family members now ask me which products/tools i use, as I have visibly received expert counseling!! Best of all, i now smile happily, no longer timid with my dental problems, as i have this Team. This new Captain is not quite as tall as Dr Fleming... but, don’t kid yourself, her precision and judgement are second to none.

  Went to the office in pain, turns out a root canal from a previous dentist had become infected! Johanna prescribed me antibiotics and referred me to an endodontist

  I had a very difficult dental extraction this morning, and Dr. Lerzundy and Dawn were truly amazing. Dr. Lerzundy, was so gentle with the extraction that required some time to remove and Dawn made sure that I was comfortable - from getting me a blanket to being there for moral support. I have to admit that I have been going to this dental practice for a very long time and the staff never disappoints me and that is from the front desk to the exam rooms. I would recommend this team if you are looking for a dentist and dental hygienist who truly cares for their patients!!

  I always hated going to the dentist, but when I go to Dr. Lerzundy's office, I can be assured that I will be taken care of (with as little pain as possible) by Dr. Lerzundy and her team of hygienists. They are all gentle and thorough and take the time to explain everything -- whether that's about oral health (the science) to the crown treatment process. My case involved getting a crown while doing orthodontics, and Dr. Lerzundy helped coordinate this with my orthodontist to ensure I get a smile I'm happy about. When I first moved to Durham, this was just a dentist office around my block, but I'm so glad I found them. I moved further away, but I still drive to see them because they're just that great!

  I probably post a review less than once a year on average, but I'm so impressed by the talent of this staff, I've got to post an enthusiastic 5-star review. I've got a tricky spot on my back molars that's been worked on 1 or 2 times on each side over 30 years plus several procedures associated with getting braces as a teenager. Each previous time, (different dentists as I moved around the country) the staff really struggled through an uncomfortable process to get it right. Not here. It was the fastest, most comfortable that procedure has ever been.
