LOVE this laundromat - it's clean, feels safe, and there are employees there to help you get started. The machines use a card payment system, which means no more fumbling for quarters - you purchase a card for $1, then add cash to it and swipe it at each machine. There's an arcade with some slightly dated games (but for me, this just made it fun - remember Ms. Pac-Man from childhood?), snack machines, and very clean restrooms. The dry cleaner is next door, and you can walk through from the inside. When you need a large washer, this is the place to go!

When I google this place I keep getting it confused with the same one they have apparently in Chapel Hill - just to be clear I'm reviewing the location in Durham near MLK and University (sort of near the Target and Harris Teeter). I live about 5 min away so have been coming here for a while, I bring my lab coats and other work clothes and have been very satisfied. Not clear what happened but they used to be located across the street, now they moved I think. Either way I recognize the same lady so I moved with them, now they're in the building that used to be the free-standing, gray NOW Audio store. I like this location better since it has more parking and it's actually easier to turn into. They have some more services too like shoe repair which is really convenient for me.
