The Center for Death Penalty Litigation, also known as CDPL, is a nonprofit law firm that provides representation to death sentenced inmates in North Carolina. In addition to direct representation, it also assists attorneys throughout North Carolina by providing trial and post-conviction consulting services, training programs, and current research and information about capital litigation and the death penalty in general. Established in 1995, the Center for Death Penalty Litigation is located in Durham, N.C.
