General Info
About UsBizios Architect Bizios Architect is committed to providing personalized architectural design services of the highest quality. Since the firm was founded in 1990, we have completed projects in North Carolina, Virginia, and Tennessee (click here to see examples of our built portfolio ). The unique strength of our firm is our ability to help clients define their needs and desires and then to make those dreams a reality. Listening, discussing, drawing, and three-dimensional modeling are the hallmarks of our approach to making a house a home. In the process, we teach our clients about design, and we involve them as essential members of the design team. We take pride in carefully siting homes in order to optimize solar orientation, provide the best views, minimize environmental impact, and enhance the experience of place. Our commitment to an ecological design approach and our expertise in sustainable strategies, including passive-solar designs, make us well-suited to meet the needs of environmentally conscious clients. We enjoy designing homes that are based on the client's ideas and the unique characteristics of the homesite. Our portfolio includes an eclectic mix of homes: small homes that are comfortable for one person, homes for big families, and a range of sizes in between. We can design additions that will either blend or contrast with the existing structure, depending on the client's wishes, and we'll coordinate renovations that breathe new life into an older home. Our designers are comfortable working with a wide array of architectural programs, aesthetic styles, and contextual considerations, resulting in homes that make a good fit with their owners and their environments.
