Miller Middle School is part of Durango School District 9-R. The school offers classes in various subjects, including mathematics, English, science and technology, social studies, language arts, health education, computer science, arts and crafts, music and physical education. It offers various special education programs for students with special needs. The school has a fully equipped library and media center that has a collection of more than 12,500 books and periodicals, and offers access to the Internet. It also provides various sports programs and extracurricular activities for students. Located in Durango, Colo., Miller Middle School serves the educational needs of more than 500 students, and offers classes from grades six through eight.
