There are not many campgrounds in Mid-Michigan that give you the feeling of camping in Up-North Michigan. The Staff is extremely courtious and knowledgable. The campsites are large and you are not on top of your neighbor. The campground is large. It has numerous trees of all species. The new owners have made a fantastic effort of turning a soso campground into a great one. OH! The bathrooms are fantastic. I am a frequent camper and these washrooms & showers deserve a 10 in my book. Continous Hot running water and you do not have to pay for the shower. We found numerous activities to keep our children busy. Crafts, Wagon Rides, Games, Swimming is a very clean lake. One of the best campgrounds that I have stayed in Mi. We have a Big Rig Motorhome and we had more than enough room for it including the slides without imposing on our neighbor. I understand that they will be updating some sites to pull-throughs and 50 Amps. A great find and we will be returning next year with our group.
