About Jewel Team I am excited to be sharing my Jewel Team with all of you in cyberspace. So what is the Jewel Team anyway? It is an extension of me, Julie Drake, here to empower people who desire change. I am a fun-loving girl from the Midwest. I am a passionate entrepreneur who wants to share my passions with others. I rarely work in my pajamas but I could! I have been in the telecommunications world since 1994 when I was hired to train people on telephone systems. This quickly led to a sales career where I marketed and management implementations of telephone systems and wiring systems in the small-medium business market. I left the industry briefly in 2002. However, this left a large void in my business life. In 2003 with the urging and support of my husband, I launched Jewel Technology Services, Inc a telecommunications consulting firm. The goal of the company was to educate small-medium businesses on their purchasing decisions regarding telecommunications equipment and monthly services. Jewel Technology Services, Inc has a strong client base largely built on client referrals. In 2009 I diversified my business model to include a division that allows me to impact people on a personal level as well as a professional level. This diversification lead to our 2010 evolution into the Jewel Team. The name, which has actually been our domain name for nearly 5 years, embodies every facet of our business model in that we build teams of people designed to overcome obstacles and reach goals. My strength is building relationships and connecting people to resources they need to accomplish their own business or personal goals. I thank God often for the opportunities He has provided for me.
