Dunkirk Specialty Steel is a subsidiary of Universal Stainless & Alloy Products, which manufactures and markets semifinished and finished specialty steel products, such as stainless steel, tool steel and certain other alloyed steels, in a variety of grades, widths and gauges. It has its facilities in Bridgeville, Pa. Established in 1994, the company's products are sold to rerollers, forgers, service centers and original equipment manufacturers. Its customers further process its products for use primarily in the heavy equipment manufacturing, power generation and aerospace industries. It also performs conversion services on materials supplied by customers. Universal Stainless & Alloy Products has a second manufacturing facility at Titusville, Pa., that produces precision-rolled products. Dunkirk Specialty Steel is headquartered in Dunkirk, N.Y.
