On January 1, 2018 I had an issue with my vehicle that left me, my wife and 10 month old son stranded. I had my vehicle towed to Mike's Garage. The shaft holding the pulley to the power steering pump had snapped, causing issues. Me and my family stayed at the Days Inn across the street from the shop. I explained my situation to the shop and also advised them that my family was stranded with me. Everyday I would go to ask the people at the shop if they had found anything out and every time it appeared that I was "bothering" them. My vehicle sat outside for 2 days before they even decided to look at it. When I received my vehicle back from the shop, the mechanic told me that the steering was still hard, but once you get going it smoothens out. He told me that he thought there was air in the line and that the only thing he could suggest to me was to steer my steering wheel back and forth every time I came to a red light to get the air out. Not knowing any different than what the mechanic told me, I drove my vehicle for a couple days and the steering stayed hard. Upon taking my vehicle to another shop, I found that Mike's Garage had put another bad power steering pump on my vehicle. I am very displeased with this shop and I will tell everyone I know not to have work done at the shop. My family and I broke down on Monday night. We did not get the vehicle back until Friday around noon, only to find out that it wasn't even fixed properly. They left a stranded family stranded for a almost a week instead of trying to get them back on the road. Every time I tried to ask why nothing was being done, I was told that they had vehicles that were dropped around Christmas time still waiting to be fixed. That is fine, but I am sure that those cars didn't have stranded families attached to them.
