Perdix Fire Company No.1 offers fire prevention, emergency medical response and rescue services for protecting life and properties. It maintains a range of fire suppressing equipment, such as pumpers, tankers, engines, compressed air foam devices, utility trailers, ambulances, rescue vans and ladders. Perdix Fire Company No.1 conducts various fundraising, educational, and fire safety and community awareness enhancing activities for individuals of all ages. It also provides volunteering opportunities for high school students between the ages of 14 and 18. The company additionally conducts various training programs that focus on ladder placement, hose pipe management, airbag removal, vehicle rescue and dash displacement. Perdix Fire Company No.1 is located in Duncannon, Pa.
