C B Lucas Co. recently installed a new HVAC system for the second floor of my home. Their performance was absolutely top notch. The preparation and analysis to determine the most appropriate remedies to the current problems was very comprehensive. It included a Manual J study which the other offerers didn't do. The installation crew did an excellent job. They were exceptionally knowledgeable and courteous. The crew was neat and clean and thoroughly cleaned up after finishing. Then the engineer and installation supervisor came and balanced the system. Also, the C B Lucas offer was the best value offer. I highly recommend them.

C.B.Lucas company installed a new duct system, a new Trane furnace and a new Trane central air conditioner at my house recently. I give them 5 star rating, because what I feel is that, Mr. Mike Lucas is a very professional and an honest business man. His team are very well trained professionals. They worked hard and quick. They clean working place everyday and move all trash out with them. This project is scheduled for 7 days, but they finished one day ahead schedule. To my family, this is a major project, it is cost very high, but the price they quote is reasonable, the key is the quality of their work. The system is running well now,(even not totally finished, I need cover the new duct system, this is not their part of work.) hope it can last long for years to come. However, if there is any problem, I think they will be ready to take care, since this company looks is a very customer oriented one, worth the trust of their customers. George

I got home to a leaking water heater, basement getting pretty flooded. I cut off the water at 10:30am, cleaned up a bit and called these guys at 11am. They were at my door at 1pm with a new water heater and were completely done and gone by 3:30. And it wasn't on their "emergency service" billing. With customer service going down the tubes everywhere it's nice to find guys like this once in a while. I highly recommend them.

It's never fun when your A/C gives out in the middle of the summer. Thankfully, the guys from C.B. Lucas gave us a good deal on a new system (which we verified with an estimate from another company), and had it installed three days later, which seems almost miraculous at this time of year (August 3rd). The best part was that the whole time my wife and I were dealing with them, from Doug, who came out to diagnose our problem and gave us the estimates, to Mike Lucas, who we worked out the details with, to Cody and Tony, who did the installation, we always felt like we were dealing with honorable people whom we could trust, and we haven't been let down. Not to mention the fact that Doug, Cody, and Tony were collectively punctual, courteous, friendly, and the work they did was done with obvious attention to detail, including fixing some minor issues from the previous installation that weren't their problem, but just made things better for us. I recently had a new A/C and Coil installed. Butch and Chris did the installation, which was well-done. Last fall, Butch was the lead in replacing an A/C with a new heat pump and furnance; which was expertly installed. In both times, all technicians were very informative, with all doing their jobs well without leaving a mess.

So the Derrecho storm, whatever the heck that is, comes through & knocks out the power. Naturally the temperature then goes to 100 degrees. No A/C, great. The power comes back on in 2 days but the outdoor A/C unit decides to commit suicide. Wonderful. I decided that there was no way I was going to try & fix an 8 year old unit. Called 3 contractors based on reviews. CB Lucas was the one that showed up in a reasonable amount of time to check it out. Fair prices on 3 options for the whole Kit & Kaboodle. Cody & Chris showed up 08:30 on the prescribed day & worked straight through until the Outdoor Unit, Coil, Furnace & Thermostat were installed & a previously damage suction line was repaired. Pulled the old units, cleaned up & showed me how to use it by 14:45. The Trane Unit brought the house from 94 to a dehumidified 81 in time to greet the wife home from work at 17:30. She's happy! Want a happy life? Make a happy wife! Saved $ in divorce lawyers. Stop looking, use these guys.

Yesterday, C.B. Lucas Company installed a new furnace and air conditioner in our townhouse. From start to finish Jesse and Mark were polite, professional and efficient. They were adaptable when they had to make way for the Duct Cleaners and still finished in a timely manner. They went over the new system, explaining the thermostat and dampers thoroughly. We were very pleased.

GREAT job! Mike did a great job evaluating what I really needed and not just selling me a system. The attention to detail on the duct work and water heater made a huge difference. His willingness to work with me and only sell me what I needed was the key. Even better was his team. Troy was great and he led the team professionally all day overcoming several obstacles. And that day extended into a VERY long day. Considering the install of A/C, Furnace, Humidifier, Media cleaner, attic fan, and significant duct work, I was impressed with the attention to detail all day! Greg the plumber was fantastic. When the water heater did not fit thru the doorway, Greg broke out his carpentry skills and removed the entire doorjamb AND replaced it with NO damage. The focus on getting the work done right far outweighed the desire to get home early for this entire team. They stayed late and cleaned up superbly. I just hope the Trane equipment performs as well as they have! HIGHLY recommended!

Excellent installation service. Very professional. Work was completed in a timely manner. The two technicians were very friendly and answered every question I asked. They made sure the system was working correctly before they left.

I had a minor catastrophe when my heater started going out. It needed service and I called Parrish. They came out and said they could get it up and running like new again! I was surprised when the service man came down and said he was done so soon! I turned on the heater and it was working great!!! Thank you!!!

After listening to 5 estimates for replacing our HVAC system with a Trane system, we chose C B Lucas because of the direct, detailed honest estimate that included all options available. At installation, the two installers arrived on time; explained what they were going to do, used floor sheets to protect carpeting, removed old HVAC, installed new system in professional and prompt manner. We would rate the entire process an "A" from the initial discussion to the final signing of the papers at job completion.

I was shopping around for a new heat pump and CB lucas was recommended by my brother. He said he was very happy with the service he received. My heater went out early spring and I started calling around for estimates. Lucky for me it was not too cold and I did not have to make a decision on the spot. I was able to call several companies, have them come out and give me estimates. CB Lucas gave me BY FAR the best price and provided great service. My house is quite large and only has 1 zone heat, they recommended for just a little more they could work with the damper system, install additional dampers and give me another zone upstairs with another thermostat. Boy, am I glad they suggested that to me. This should save me quite a bit in my utility bills and I love it. The technician was here when they said, was very professional and had the system installed with no problems. They also suggested for just a little more, and I mean little, that I could upgrade the warranty to 10 years part and labor. That was a no brainer to me. I recently had my A/C break. I appreciated the customer service that CB Lucas showed. The techs went above and beyond excellent customer service (which is very hard to find in this day & age). They came quickly, diagnosed the problem & installed another unit. They were extremely friendly & walked through everything they were doing. CB Lucas provided exceptional customer service and responsiveness when we had to change out an old unit. They responded within 24 hours to our crisis during a hot summer day recently. They measured, evaluated and within 3 business days we had a new heat pump, air handler and thermostat installed at a cost lower when compared with 3 other companies. The service techs was professional and knowledgable. They were friendly and took time to answer questions. My thanks to CB Lucas Co and the guys that came out (V & J). I would recommend to anyone experiencing air conditioning problems and needing to replace a unit to call these folks. My neighbors came over and I passed along CB Lucas information to them as they are in need of upgrading old heat pumps. My wife and I were very pleased.

C.B. Lucas provided an excellent price and an outstanding warrantee on the Trane Heat Pump and Air Handler. The equipment was as promised and installation was done in a very professional manner. The quality of the work was outstanding, the technicians were very professional and the supervisor visited the job site twice. I was asked for any any concerns and all questions were answered fully. I was given a number to call to reports any problems. No call were needed. I want to thank Wayne Lucas for his assistance on choosing a system and excellent support through the whole process. Customer service is awful. Would not give options for a new system for our home. Would not return phone call about service that was performed. Technician was nice, but neglected to tell us that heat would be running off of emergency electric heat due to heat pump being down. We thought just the A/C would not function. We found out how important it was to get new system when we received our HUGE electric bill. Owner was not apologetic. He needs lessons in customer service. There are too many other A/C options in the Fredericsburg/Stafford area to choose from that offer excellent service and options.
