Have not been here for a while, but used to go here every year. It is a great get-away if you are all about a weekend away with the guys for fishing. What the place lacks in modern accomidations it makes up for in spirit. Warm friendly people, Lots of great memories there!! Its great to come in after a day of fishing and enjoy a pizza with beer with your party, then to play a few rounds of pool before retiring to your cabin. This place is not about fancy hotel accomidations, it is not the hilton, just a place to get away to the great outdoors in a down home atmosphere. I am from the city, and If I wanted cold sterile and stuffy I would just stay home, but I find myself longing for the sound of crickets, or the sound of an old fashioned juke box in the distance. Fishing there is always great!! The price is right too, if your looking for that weekend escape with the family that will not land you in the poorhouse.

I would NEVER stay at this campground again. My campsite was COVERED in goose droppings that I had to rake up myself. There were no shower or bathroom facilities (not even in the bar), just a couple really bad outhouses. It was $30 a night, which did NOT include the RV dump, which was an extra $5. If someone wanted to put up a tent on your site it was full price for them. The playground was not safe for children to be playing on, the one swing that was left had a thin strip of metal left on the chain before it broke like all of the other ones. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
