Located in Duluth, Minn., the Public Works Land Survey Division locates public land survey corner markers throughout the county. The division is also responsible for the maintenance of survey records. In addition, it offers a range of land surveying services for road and bridge maintenance and construction projects. The Public Works Land Survey Division also reviews and approves land subdivision plans prior to recording. It additionally provides assistance for parcel mapping projects. The division is a part of the St. Louis County Public Works Department, which is responsible for planning, surveying, designing, constructing and maintaining road and highway systems within the county.
