always excellent care for my GSD and cat
I called because this clinic was closer to my home and less of a car ride for my cat who hates the car. I had an emergent situation and was treated very poorly over the phone. I asked if a family member could bring my cat in to which I was told only if they are capable of making medical decisions for the animal, and when asked if they could call me to make decisions for my cat, the staffer was very huffy, and said "No, ya know, we are really working you in getting an appointment today.". If they treat me this way before I even step foot in the clinic I can't imagine how they would treat my baby! I will be continuing my patronage at North Shore Veterinary Hospital in Lakeside as I have always had a stellar experience with their care and personnel.
I like the staff, they are always cheerful and happy to see my dog. They found time in their schedule to see my dog right away when she was sick. Sometimes they even save me a trip to the vet by telling me how to treat my dog's symptoms over the phone. The facility is clean and not crowded. I recommend them to everyone.
Never be late, your appointment will be canceled. You'd think they would be more sympathetic since most vet services are over 1 hour away from where we live. But no, they really DON'T CARE.

Dr. Schuder treated my dog for a sore back when I was in town for an agility trial. I appreciated the office's efforts to get me in for an appointment on very short notice to allow me to ensure my dog had a comfortable, long ride home. I was impressed with the office's professionalism and with the quality of the services given to us. (His diagnosis and treatment recommendations were confirmed by our regular veterinarian.)
