I live in Minnesota and was visiting the Dublin area and went to Woody's for some good Mexican Food and found it to be excellent. Also the dinner menu had delicious steaks and other fare that was out of this world. The Woodlocks ( the owners ) were fantastic hosts and the atmosphere was simply great. You can't do better!

This is the place to go in Erath County in Texas for great food. Lots more folks crowd in for the sports on the big screens, pool, live music, and Texas rowdiness on the weekends! Woody's has excellent steaks, barbque, burgers, and appetizers. They are known for a particularly yummy appetizer, fried pickles; I was skeptical myself but I have seen the light and crave these sliced pickles dipped in a tasty batter and quickly deep fried. Steaks and meats are cooked over a wood fire in this rustic, log cabin style local favorite. My personal favorite are the steak fingers; Woody's slices and tenderizes their wonderful steaks, then batters them up like a chicken fried steak! Wow, these are the best steak fingers I've ever had--in fact probably the only ones really made from steak! Check out the food and fun at Woody's if you're at all West of Fort Worth in the Stephenville area this place is worth the drive!
