Yankee Publishing is an independent family-owned publisher of the monthly Yankee magazine in the state of New Hampshire. It publishes region-specific features, such as throwing a classic clambake and finding the best country roads for fall foliage leaf peeping. The company also publishes books, such as The Old Farmer's Almanac, Gardener's Companion and the annual Travel Guide to New England. In addition to its magazine Web site, Yankee Publishing also operates Almanac.com. The company was founded in 1935 by Robb and Beatrix Sagendorph.
