I won't go back to Stafford Chevrolet in Dryden NY for ANY reason. I brought them a SUV with a broken back left brake line, told them what was wrong, and asked for a repair estimate. The cost came in between $450 to $900 which was ridiculous, so I told them "No thanks". When I picked up the vehicle I had to pay $21.60, as they charge for estimates, if you don't have the work done! No other shop/dealer in the area does that. I drove off, and 1/2 mile later when I hit the brakes I had none, I barely avoided hitting 3 stopped cars and a truck, finally stopped when I hit a curb. The brake fluid reservoir was EMPTY, yet it had been full when I dropped the vehicle off. The Service Manager was very apologetic when I spoke to him and agreed the reservoir should have been filled when the work was not performed. He also ensured me he'd refund the $21.60 as they had not told me about charging for the estimate. No credit has yet been issues to my credit card. They almost killed me.

Outstanding service all around! First of all, I made an appointment with the customer service rep, so I knew I was going to get the help I wanted. They matched me with the perfect salesperson. He knew my situation even before I set foot in the dealership, and that saved me a lot of time. He was very knowledgeable and could help me compare different makes. I got the perfect car and a great deal and would recommend them to anyone.
