Dryden Elementary School provides curricular and cocurricular programs to approximately 600 students in kindergarten through grade five. The school s parent-teacher association provides a forum for parents and teachers to work cooperatively for the education and welfare of students. Located in Dryden, N.Y., its child care program sponsors several before- and after-school activities. Dryden Elementary School has a library and media center that includes a main library, classroom and computer lab. The library offers access to a variety of print materials and nonprint resources, such as storybooks, picture dictionaries, puzzles, CD-ROMs, videos and filmstrips. The school organizes book fairs, family game nights, fundraising events and parenting workshops. Dryden Elementary School offers classes in English, math, science, social studies, language arts, music, physical education and art. The school is governed by the Dryden Central School District.
