As a transplanted NY'er and pizza nut who's grown up spoiled by the best pizza in the world at places like Patsy's, Totonnos, and John's, I didnt have high hopes for this place when I took my daughter there a couple weeks ago. I was half expecting a Chucky Cheese kind of experience due to the cartoonish logo and fact that it is a "chain." Boy was I pleasantly surprised. The place is clean, the fireplace is a great touch, the staff is friendly, and both times I went they had sample strombolis out (which were delicious too.) The main event were the pizza slices though, which had the perfect blend of crisp and chew to the crust, great sauces and cheeses and just the right amount in ratio. It's now our new tradition to go to Tony Roni's for slices - A+ rating in my book..

I had a bad experience at Tony Roni's with my son on the day of the Manoa Elementary school walk-a-thon, my 7 year old received a prize from Tony Roni's for a free slice of pizza. The guy in charge will not honor the coupon because there was an error on the print, it said, "stop in after the Walk-a-Thon to get your free cheese pizza, the guy in charge argued with me because the valid date was the next day. I thought is was very petty and unprofessional to argue over a slice a pizza, we paid for the slice and ordered additional food. I will not go back again and I informed other Manoa parents to be aware.
