S&D Fence was founded by Dave Daigle and Serge Beaulieu in 1970, and incorporated in 1972. From the very beginning S&D Fence has taken great pride in our diverse portfolio of projects. These projects range in scope from thousands of feet of high security fence at government and military installations, defense contractors and prisons, to custom ornamental fences for homeowners. In 1973 Serge Beaulieu left the company to pursue other interests, Dave Daigle has been the owner/President since that time. In 1978 S&D Fence acquired our current location on Rt. 113 in Dracut MA with plenty of room for storage of materials, our fabrication shop, and our trucks and equipment. The facilities and equipment now available made it possible for S&D Fence to design, build, and fabricate any gates or custom steel and wood products in house. Therefore enabling us to meet any specification our customers desired. Throughout the 1980's S&D Fence expanded operations and worked closely with some of the largest and most well known companies in New England, while still providing service to our residential customers that's second to none. During this period, S&D Fence designed and fabricated much of its own equipment to both expedite and dramatically increase the quality and efficiency of installations. This equipment ranges from our own in-house custom built installation truck bodies, to power equipment fabricated for skid-steer loaders for dispensing concrete and pounding posts in tight areas. All of this development has enabled S&D Fence to complete even the most difficult installations on time, all while exceeding our clients expectations.
