I brought a pair of women's pants to be shortened, and the fabric was cut with pinking shears and not turned over before stitching. Not very professional, but that's not the worst of it. The first time I washed the pants, all the thread came out of one leg and the other leg was half unthreaded. I brought them back to be fixed and they re-stitched them. During the next washing, the thread again came out of one leg. I didn't go back again because I had no confidence anything different would be done. I wonder if because they rent formalwear, they don't expect their alterations to last longer than an evening. If that's so, they should just rent formalware, and not advertise themselves as a tailor.
