Access Health Center provides medical services, such as abortion, gynecology, urology, family practice, gastroenterology, internal medicine, general surgery and sexually transmitted disease (STD) testing. The center offers gynecology services, such as initial/annual gynecological examination with Pap smear, birth control pills, emergency contraception, breast examination, menstrual disorders, surgical consultation and bone density (osteoporosis) screening. It also provides family practice services for immunizations, cholesterol screening, respiratory problems, etc. Access Health Center performs anonymous testing of patients for Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV)/Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS), where the health educator does not record the person s name. It is a member of the Illinois Abortion Clinics.
