Established in 1945, the Dover Township Volunteer Fire Department works to provide fire investigation and inspection, code enforcement, public education, and emergency medical and rescue services. It operates a communication center that utilizes multichannel, programmable radios that assist in coordinating responses to various emergency and nonemergency calls for service. The department is comprised of line officers, life members, a board of directors and firefighters.
