The Strand reopened in 2015 as a performing arts and entertainment venue. We are the only venue in Dover "WHERE THE STAGE COMES TO LIFE" . The Strand reopened in 2015. We were approved as a nonprofit 501(c)(3) in 2017. We are a Veteran owned and operated community-focused business in downtown Dover, N.H. We are the 3rd oldest operating theater in NH. Our charitable initiative includes veteran groups, giving opportunities for musicians to perform in a venue, and supporting music and theater programs in schools. Our giving initiative donate to a charitable organization every month. We have been bringing the experiences of comedy, fashion shows, dinner theaters, murder mysteries, live theater, dances, and music performances. Since 2017, Break A Leg Legally has been the Strands house community theater performing live theater throughout the year.
