Cardiology Consultants, founded in 1977, is one of the largest cardiology and cardiothoracic surgery practices in Florida. It performs various medical and surgical procedures, such as atherectomy, atrial fibrillation, balloon angioplasty, bypass surgery, coronary artery, cardiac catheterization, congestive heart failure, electrophysiology, heart valve surgery and Holter monitoring. The center also provides treatment services, such as minimally invasive coronary artery bypass, mitral valve and mitral valve prolapse, pacemakers, premature atrail and ventrical contractions, stent implantation, stress echo, stress test and cardiac imaging, tilt table and transesophageal echo. Cardiology Consultants is a member of the Pensacola Heart Institute, and operates branches in Pensacola and Gulf Breeze, Fla.
