Services Offered at Bark River Animal Hospital Routine: We offer an array of routine services such as: laboratory, surgery, x-ray, nutrition counseling, vaccinations, flea/tick/heartworm prevention, pet pharmacy, euthanasia. We care for dogs, cats and pocket pets(rabbits, guinea pigs, ect) Surgery: With the use of our laser in our surgeries the patient will have less pain, bleeding and swelling. We offer a broad array of surgeries including routine(spay, neuter, declaw), soft tissue, orthopedic surgery with a board certified orthopedic surgeon to name just a few. We use gas anesthetic machines and monitoring equipment(pluse oximeter, cardiac monitors with EKG and blood pressure) to ensure that extra margin of saftey for your loved furry friend. Dentistry: Our dental services include cleaning, ultrasonic scaling, polishing, fluoride treatment and tooth extrations. Diagnostic: We use many different tests to ensure the best care for your loved one. We have a full in-house lab(we can run cbc and blood chemisteries), stool ananlysis, urinalysis, heartworm testing, lyme disease screening, OFA hip x-rays, enchocardiogram of the heart with a cardiologist. We work with serveral Board-certified specialists to ensure your loved one is getting the best possible care. Board-certified speccialists are veterinarians who have had 3-4 additional yaers of training in a specific discipline such as Dermatology, Internal Medicine, Surgery, Ophthalmology, and many more.
