We currently operate tours and/or expeditions through 3 caves and a gold mine in California's beautiful and historic Gold Country. Black Chasm Cavern, National Natural Landmark is open daily year round, offering guided walk tours and above ground bouldering expeditions called the Labyrinth Tour. California Cavern, State Historic Landmark is open seasonally, conducting guided walk tours, 2-hour Mammoth Cave Expeditions and challenging 4-hour Middle Earth Expeditions taking you through wild, unimproved areas of the cave. Moaning Cavern Adventure Park features a multitude of activities including guided walk tours, thrilling rope rappels, 3-hour wild caving Adventure Trips, twin zip lines, and a custom climbing tower. Gold Cliff Mine's 3-hour Adventure Trips are available by reservation only. All caves also offer above ground gemstone mining, gold panning, geode cracking and science and nature themed visitor centers.
