Dorchester House Multi-Service Center is a full-service community health center offering primary and specialty medical services to people of all ages. The center serves north and south Dorchester as well as the surrounding communities in Massachussetts. The center s health services include behavioral health, dentistry and eye care. Its physicians, nurses, and other health care providers offer a wide array of pediatric, adolescent and adult health services. Additionally, it provides general check-ups, help with a chronic health problem, prenatal care, services, nutrition counseling and skilled health care. The center also offers a wide range of public health programs, such as case management for chronic illnesses, including asthma, diabetes, and HIV and AIDS. Its other programs comprise health education, prevention, and social and recreational services, including preschool day care, after school programs for children in grades kindergarten through 12, gym and swimming pool.
