Located in Dodge City, Kan., Northwest Elementary School has an annual enrollment of more than 450 students in kindergarten through grade four. The school employs a counselor, nurse, psychologist, reading specialist, instructional coach, pathologist and social worker. Northwest Elementary School also employs several custodians and paraprofessionals. The school has a library that provides access to online encyclopedias, dictionaries, maps, magazines, newspapers, databases and other reference materials. Its curriculum includes various subjects, such as art, health and physical education, math, science, social studies and technology. Northwest Elementary School has been operational for more than 50 years and is a part of Dodge City Public Schools.
