My husband and I decided to try Mr. Taco out of curiosity, and we soon became regulars. We never knew what a gem we had right in our own home town! We have never seen such a variety of authentic dishes offered anywhere else. 17 types of burrito (Camaron al Mojo de Ajo, shrimp in a creamy sauce, is delicious!), 26 combination plates (Cochinita Pibil, baked pork in banana leaves, is unique, delectable and one of our favorites) and 17 seafood plates are offered. They truly have "The best Mexican food in Solano County" or indeed anywhere! 9 Mexican breakfasts are served all day, and Menudo is offered daily and not just on weekends. The menu also features the most delicious hamburgers! Try Mr. Burger, a cheeseburger with grilled onions and ham with fries always made fresh, never reheated. The restaurant is clean and the decor is as cozy and inviting as a kitchen in Mexico. Pedro or one of his servers will give you friendly, prompt service. Located off the I-80 exit, and well worth the stop!
