Seriously the best boarding facility in Northern California! My husband and I have had our two horses there for 4 years. They love the daily pasture turnout, customized feed program and large stalls with paddocks. We use the arena and round pen all the time, but my favorite is the levy trails that stretch for miles through crop and wooded areas! I can't imagine having my boys anywhere else.

I am compelled to correct the (1) negative review of Little Wing Stables. I suspect this was posted by an employee who was recently terminated there. I do not personally know the cause of her termination, but I had a few interactions with her in which she was constantly gossiping and bad mouthing everyone...the other boarders, the young students who intern there, etc. She seemed to be that kind of negative vibe trouble maker. Since she was recently let go from there, I'm concluding this review was posted by her in retaliation. I'm alerting the owners and I hope they sue the pants off this looney. They have 4 clients that I know of that are lawyers... As for me, I love Little Wing and I would never take my horse anywhere else. He gets turned out all day, which is the best thing ever for his arthritis. They have excellent quality hay and a big new hay barn that keeps it out of the weather. He has a huge stall AND am attached paddock.. He always has plenty of bedding and the stalls are cleaned every day. The owner picks up my grain for me and doesn't charge me to do that. They never charge me to hold me horse for the vet or farrier when I can't make it sometimes for his appointments. My boy gets to be pastured with his buddies and I've seen a 200% improvement in his joint stiffness and in his overall attitude since he's been there. I love the other people there and to top it off they let me bring my dog. What more could I ask for?? If you are looking for a safe and healthy place for your horse, I highly recommend Little Wing!

I'm not sure which place the other reviewer visited, but it clearly wasn't Little Wing Stables. In my 30+ years of horse ownership I have never met a group of owners as passionate and knowledgeable about horses as these folks. They understand that horse boarding extends well beyond a stall and feed. They understand that horses need paddocks to be able to move around while in for the night. Their daily pasture turnout yields incredible results, as the horses are able to graze and socialize, things they NEED to be happy and healthy. All hay and feed is top quality from top suppliers. All bedding is guaranteed top quality and is spread generously in each stall daily. The team of employees that take care of your horses are focused on one thing: the well-being of each and every horse there. The conditions here are beautiful, we are in California after all. Come see for yourself and talk to any of the owners, Brenda, Larry or Kelly, and they show you around.
