I work for an equipment vendor and have delivered equipment to numerous Altec facilities around the U.S. and my experiences have been superlative. Not so at the Dixon, CA facility. Delivered to Dixon for the first time recently; highly unusual and very restrictive delivery regimen; bizarre would NOT be an understatement - stating their policies were due to local environmental regulations? Yard and plant staff were helpful otherwise. The icing on the cake was the foul receptionist; don't recall in my lengthy memory running across someone who seemed to be deliberately attempting to provoke a confrontation over? I don't know if she was a stand in or the actual full time receptionist. I will ask for another assignment to Dixon to see if her behavior was just a fluke or otherwise.
