The Dickson Fire Department is comprised of well-trained group of men and women provide fire suppression and paramedic-level emergency medical services. Its services include hazardous materials response, fire prevention, business inspections, and search and rescue. The department maintains The Fire Suppression division, which is comprised of more than 30 fire fighters. The Dickson Fire Department works for the development and implementation of proactive programs and procedures that anticipate, recognize and assess fire risks and initiate actions to remove and reduce fire risks. Its Hazardous Material Team is a multi-agency team that is trained to deal with emergency situations. The Dickson Fire Department is located in Dickson, Tenn.
