- VaccinationOur veterinarians are experienced in providing beef cattle producers with a variety of herd health services including pregnancy detection, vaccination programs & breeding programs, Brucellosis vaccination and production problems.
- Nutritional CounselingThe successful treatment of sick foals requires a neonatal critical care unit where the special needs of the newborn foal can be addressed. The condition of any neonate can change very rapidly. Frequent monitoring by our dedicated staff allows for the early recognition, timely intervention, and rapid resolution of neonatal problems. Our neonatal critical care team provides a safe, clean and warm environment for managing sick foals. We are equipped to handle everything from routine new foal exams to the premature/dummy foal and neonatal septicemia requiring 24-hour ICU care. Your foal will benefit from the latest advances and techniques for the diagnosis, management and treatment of disease. A complete range of nursing care is available, including a foal bed for recumbent foals, constant or intermittent fluid therapy, parenteral or enteral nutritional support, stall-side oxygen, and care for angular limb deformities and contracted tendons.
- Comprehensive ExaminationOur pets require regular checkups, just like we do. Also, because many of the exotic species that we see are prey animals, they hide their symptoms until they are very ill. We provide regular wellness exams and preventive medicine so that you can rest easy knowing your pet is healthy. We also recommend a wellness exam when you first adopt your new pet, to ensure that they are healthy and ready to start their new life with you.
- Parasites Treatment and ControlWe believe preventative medicine is the best medicine. We recommend core vaccines to prevent infectious disease. We recommend medications to prevent parasites such as fleas, ticks, heartworms and intestinal parasites. As your pet ages, we believe in screening lab work to identify any problems early, so they can be effectively managed. Throughout your pet's life, we believe in the importance of a healthy diet.

- Upper Respiratory Illness TreatmentEndoscopy allows for direct visualization of certain inaccessible areas of the body. Our video endoscopy system allows the image to be displayed on a TV screen, thereby enabling the client and the veterinarian to observe and discuss the case at the same time. Endoscopy allows for examination of crucial parts of the respiratory system, including the pharynx, larynx, guttural pouches and trachea. It also allows for examination of the urethra and bladder of both males and females, and the cervix and uterus of mares. The 3.0-meter endoscope is used to examine the esophagus, stomach and upper duodenum. Endoscopy is an essential part of the evaluation of horses with poor performance, upper airway conditions and abnormal respiratory noises, many lung diseases, gastric (stomach) ulcers, and urinary tract diseases.
- Heart Disease TreatmentFinally, we have various other specialized equipment for measuring blood pressure, performing remote ECGs, and a Digitherm thermography unit to aid in diagnosing obscure lameness and pain. These non-invasive technologies allow us to produce quick and accurate diagnoses, which can make all the difference when your pet is critically ill or injured.

This allows immediate assessment of our emergency and critical care patients without delay. IDEXX assays for Lyme disease, Anaplasma and IgG, and Serum amyloid A are also available in-house. We have relationships with a wide variety of outside laboratories that provide all other types of laboratory testing and clinical pathology services.
