Buckeye Elementary serves more than 650 students in prekindergarten through third grade. The school has a staff that includes a librarian, counselor, art teacher, speech therapist, and music, classroom and physical education teachers. Buckeye Elementary operates a library and media center that offers a range of subjects, such as reading, mathematics, writing, spelling, social studies, science and phonics for students in grades one and two. Additionally, the school conducts classes in music and fine arts. Buckeye Elementary also operates a library that offers various resources, such as books and newspapers. The school also operates a parent-teacher association that funds and supports academic programs and social activities. Buckeye Elementary is a part of the Rapides Parish School District. The school is located in Deville, La.
