The organization also provides a male mentoring and development program for boys and a self-efficacy project for girls. Its Young Community Investors is a summer leadership institute that focuses on employability training, college preparation and community services. The Metropolitan Youth Collaborative offers a writing project that serves aspiring young writers. The organization is a part of the YMCA of Metropolitan Detroit.
