I agree with the other reviews. And want to add - "Hudson Lofts in an over priced flop house!" It is a crime that they are allowed to rent lofts for $1000.+/month. Buildings/landlords like them are what continue to give Detroit a bad reputation.

The Hudson Lofts could be the #1 Loft property in downtown Detroit as it has a prime location and terrific views of the river, but due to the horrible building maintenance and overall cleanliness of the buildings common areas, Hudson Lofts is a rental property that should be avoided. The lobby is always dirty - unsweep, dusty, dog urine and other stains on the floor. The main stairway has layers of dirt, and graffiti on the walls and stairs, and light fixtures that don't work. The back stairway has a dirty mattress and other broken furniture left in the stairwell. A homeless person sleeps under the back stairs (office has been told about this person numerous times). Tenants leave their trash in hallways. There is a t-shirt printing company ran out of ta tenants loft so there is always a weird (and possibly dangerous) odor circulating throughout the whole building. No elevator! Tenants vehicles broken into and stolen from in front of the building and the parking garage. Leaking windows.
